When life threw boulders
Over my shoulder
I smiled and I seared the wounds
When seasons of pain
Didn't end with the rain
I prayed for some music to groove
I had so much fun
Right under the sun
When the world was small, dreams were fair
Didn't have to belong
Just sing my own song
And I think just why did I grow up!
When silence now croons
Through heavy metal tunes
Makes me pass through the dead nights
I laugh at a joke
Smile at the weird bloke
Get hysterical in the middle of a fight
Disorder's in command
Peace is in remand
And I am the master of defeat
Try and convince
The old man's province
Then drown in the ocean of deceit
How happy and gay
Was every single day
When the world was small, dreams were fair
And now its all gone
My dreams are all torn
And I think just where did the years go away.....
The more I’ve seen
The more I’ve been
Faithful to lies and truth unknown
Why did I turn
Tough paths to learn
Life was simpler when I was a child.
About Me
- Tempestuous Exhilaration
- For a long time, my friends have been asking me to start a blog! And for equally long..I've been pushing off the idea! Finally, now that I have created one, I am quite happy about this new step! I can only imagine the strength of this tool...to express...to hear....to be heard! You will find some of the poems I have written. Will come up with some articles/stories soon. Please do feel free to leave your comments/views. Cheers!
